About Destructive Secrets

Destructive Secrets, Action, designed by Stuart Beel first released in December 1995 in the set Dark Sovereigns.

Destructive Secrets is most useful in a **Nosferatu swarm deck** that plans to take several important actions in one turn: if a single opposing minion is doing most of the blocking, this card can clear the way for every Nosferatu that acts afterward. Its drawback is tempo—you spend a Nosferatu’s action and 1 blood setting up those later actions, and the chosen minion may still be able to block Destructive Secrets itself. In most Nosferatu decks, **Lost in Crowds** is a better way to push through an action, while **Elder Impersonation** is better when you need to get past a particular blocker on an action already underway; neither, though, protects the whole turn in the same way. I’d consider Destructive Secrets as a niche one- or two-copy choice for an action-heavy swarm, but it generally should not be a staple.
