About Winterlich (G6)
Winterlich (G6), Vampire, designed by Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in February 2015 in the set 2015 Storyline Rewards and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Winterlich fits a **changeling-ally toolbox deck**, especially one that wants to recruit changelings whose requirements its other vampires cannot meet; his discount then rewards you for keeping him ready while you recruit more. There is no strictly better replacement if you need both his requirement-bypassing ability and a table-wide cost reduction. If changelings are only a minor part of the deck, though, a conventional Kiasyd stealth-bleed build is likely to get more from its crypt slots and pool. **He should see play in a dedicated changeling deck, but probably not in a general-purpose Kiasyd deck**: at 7 pool, he needs repeated recruits to justify the investment.

When meeting a requirement to play a card, the vampire is treated as such for all the effects of the card, and only them, including duration effects. You can still use the burn options of cards with a requirement he could meet when you play them, but does not meet while in play. [LSJ 20050225]
