About Vast Wealth
Vast Wealth, Master, designed by Kaja Foglio, William O'Connor first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
Vast Wealth fits an equipment-focused deck with a ready minion who can repeatedly take equip actions, especially when most equipment in the library is useful and the deck wants +1 stealth to get it into play. Its limitation is that you cannot choose which equipment you find: you take the first one from the top, pay its normal cost, and spend an action, while the card also uses a master play. In a Thaumaturgy deck, **Magic of the Smith** is generally better for a specific piece of equipment because it lets you search for the one you need; Vast Wealth’s advantage is that it stays in play for repeated equips. I would play Vast Wealth in a dedicated equipment deck, but usually leave it out of a deck that only needs to fetch one or two key items.
