Underbridge Stray fits best in an Animalism combat-and-block deck that wants an occasional press and a way to unlock a defender when an action is directed at you or a card you control. It is more appealing at superior Animalism, where its extra life lets it provide two presses before being burned. It is not usually the best card for either job, though: **Aid from Bats** is a more efficient source of combat presses, while **On the Qui Vive** is a more flexible way to let a locked vampire respond to an action. The Stray’s advantage is that one card offers both options, but its unlock ability is restricted to directed actions and costs you the ally. I would consider one copy in a deck that can use both abilities, rather than make it a standard inclusion.
