About Under Siege

Under Siege, Action, designed by Anna Evertsdotter, Ginés Quiñonero-Santiago first released in October 2013 in the set Danse Macabre and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

Under Siege fits a **titled Sabbat wall deck** that wants to block repeatedly, especially one with intercept and combat cards to make those blocks count. Its strength is letting a locked Sabbat vampire unlock and attempt a block with +1 intercept up to three times without needing a reaction card in hand. **On the Qui Vive** or **Wake with Evening’s Freshness** are better choices for occasional defense because they do not require a setup action; Under Siege is better when you expect to use several blocks and can afford that action. I would play it as a one-of in a dedicated Sabbat blocking deck, but usually skip it in a faster deck or one with few titled Sabbat vampires.
