About Uncontrolled Impulse
Uncontrolled Impulse, Action modifier, designed by Greg Boychuk first released in November 2005 in the set Legacies of Blood.
Uncontrolled Impulse fits an **Ishtarri vote or bleed deck** that needs its first non-mandatory action of the turn to get through a blocker, especially if its vampires lack Obfuscate. Its +2 stealth is strong, but the timing restriction makes extra copies awkward: once you’ve taken an ordinary action, they’re dead cards for the rest of that turn. If your crypt has superior Obfuscate, **Lost in Crowds** is usually better because it gives +2 stealth without that restriction. Otherwise, Uncontrolled Impulse is worth a few slots when landing that first action is central to your plan, but I would not build the deck’s entire stealth package around it.
