About Thin-Blooded Seer
Thin-Blooded Seer, Action, designed by Brian LeBlanc first released in November 2003 in the set Black Hand.
Thin-Blooded Seer fits **low-capacity swarm or breeding decks**, especially those already using ready, non-sterile vampires of capacity 1–2 and wanting additional bodies for basic bleeds, blocking, or equipment-based actions; it can also support an anarch swarm because the new vampire inherits the acting vampire’s sect. Its library-peeking ability is a small tactical bonus rather than a strong reason to build around it: you gain information, but you neither draw nor rearrange those cards, and locking the Seer during your unlock phase generally sacrifices its actions for that turn. The drawbacks are substantial: it must hunt on arrival, has no printed disciplines, is fragile, cannot reproduce because it is sterile, and pays double for cards costing blood. **The Embrace is usually the better choice for clan-based breeding decks**, because its offspring retain the acting vampire’s clan and therefore support clan-requiring cards and strategies such as Consanguineous Boon; a clanless Seer d
