About The Mole
The Mole, Reaction, designed by Steve Prescott first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs.
The Mole best fits an anarch wall or toolbox deck, especially one using Animalism, Celerity, and/or Dominate to defend against non-anarch actions: it is free, can turn a locked vampire into a blocker, provides conditional intercept, and can stop a bleed from a younger vampire outright. However, its restrictions are substantial: it does nothing against anarch minions, cannot use the Celerity mode against Celerity minions, requires a ready anarch, and the Dominate mode only works against younger vampires, so it is highly meta-dependent rather than a generally strong reaction. Dedicated Auspex wall decks usually prefer **Eyes of Argus** or **Enhanced Senses**, while bleed-defense decks generally prefer **Deflection**, **Redirection**, or **Telepathic Misdirection** depending on their disciplines; those cards are more reliable for their specific roles. The Mole can see play as a one- or two-copy flexible defensive card in an anarch toolbox or in a metagame dominated by non-anarch bleed and
