About The Line
The Line, Master, designed by Carmen Cornet first released in May 2017 in the set Anthology and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
The Line is best in an action-heavy toolbox or multi-action deck that repeatedly plays blood-costing action cards, particularly decks using expensive political, bleed, recruit, or equipment actions and vampires that can regularly replenish blood; reducing several one- or two-blood actions to free or cheaper plays can provide meaningful long-term value. However, most competitive action cards cost zero or one blood already, and The Line is a vulnerable unique location that does nothing until you spend an action card, so it is usually less reliable than general blood-management cards such as **The Coven**, **Blood Doll**, or **Villein**, depending on the deck, while **Heidelberg Castle, Germany** is generally stronger in decks that need flexible blood movement. There is no universally superior card that performs exactly the same cost-reduction effect, but the opportunity cost is high, and The Line should usually not see competitive play unless your deck contains a dense package of costly
