Sundown (G3)

About Sundown (G3)

Sundown (G3), Vampire, designed by Jim Nelson first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs.

Sundown fits a Camarilla political or vote-control deck, especially one that can reliably generate blood through Voter Captivation, Govern the Unaligned, Villein, or other recursion and wants a flexible referendum finisher; however, paying one blood for each additional vote is expensive, and Sundown contributes no inherent titled votes, stealth, or particularly strong political support, so he is usually weaker than comparable titled vampires and generally not worth a slot in competitive decks. Better options are vampires that provide permanent votes through titles, such as Inner Circle, Prince, or Archbishop-level political vampires, combined with vote-modifying cards like Awe, Bewitching Oration, and Telepathic Vote Counting; if the deck specifically needs a six-capacity Camarilla Nosferatu with political utility, Sundown can be playable as a thematic or budget choice, but outside that narrow role he should generally be omitted.
