About Sacrificial Lamb
Sacrificial Lamb, Action, designed by Stuart Beel first released in December 1995 in the set Dark Sovereigns and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Sacrificial Lamb fits an **Obfuscate deck that regularly puts opposing vampires in torpor**, especially one that values permanent removal but cannot afford the blood hunt risk of diablerie. Its basic effect can also turn one of your own doomed vampires into blood and equipment for a more important one, though that is a costly, situational trade. **Ordinary diablerie is usually the better option** when the blood hunt is manageable, while **Giant’s Blood** is more efficient if all you need is a refill; neither is a straight replacement for safely burning an opponent’s vampire. I would play Sacrificial Lamb as a niche one- or two-copy card in a deck that reliably creates torpor targets, not as a staple: its 3-cost and required action are hard to justify when it cannot consistently remove an enemy vampire.
Rules

If the action is unblocked when it resolves and the target is no longer in torpor, the action "fizzles" (cost, if any, is paid, and it is considered successful, but has no effect). [ANK 20210124] [LSJ 20070411] [LSJ 20090514]

If the target does not burn (eg. {Byzar}'s ability) then no blood is gained and no equipment transferred. [LSJ 20100423]

If the target has a {Soul Gem of Etrius}, the Gem effect applies and it cannot be transferred. [LSJ 19970516]
