About Restoration

Restoration, Action, designed by Susan Van Camp, Ash Arnett first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 10 different ways.

Restoration is best suited to decks that frequently need to refill vampires after combat or other blood-intensive actions—especially combat-heavy [for] decks—and its free cost and stealth make it a low-risk way to gain 2 blood, or 3 with superior Fortitude. However, it is usually a niche choice: **Enkil Cog**-style untap/action packages or dedicated blood-management cards such as **Blood Doll** can provide more repeatable value, while **Taste of Vitae** is generally better for combat decks that can reliably inflict damage and recover blood without spending an action. Restoration may be worth including when your deck has spare action capacity, access to Fortitude, and a real blood shortage, but it is unlikely to be a staple because even a stealthy action to gain blood competes with actions that advance your game plan.
