**Regaining the Upper Hand** is a niche choice for a vote deck that needs to control the Edge but cannot reliably gain it by bleeding; in a multiplayer deal, it can also give the Edge to an ally. Its drawback is that it spends both a card and a political action without directly gaining pool, damaging an opponent, or advancing your vampires. For most vote decks, **Kine Resources Contested** is a better use of that action, while a successful bleed is a better way to take the Edge when you can manage one. I would leave Regaining the Upper Hand out of a typical deck and consider it only if Edge control is central to the deck’s plan.
