About Recruitment
Recruitment, Master, designed by Diana Vick first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Recruitment fits crypts that need a specific vampire to function, such as decks built around a star vampire or a particular clan-and-discipline combination. Its guaranteed search is useful when that vampire is not in your opening uncontrolled region, but 2 pool and a master-phase action are a steep price for a card that still needs influence to bring out. Effective Management is generally the better direct alternative if you can use it, while Wider View is better for repeated crypt filtering but cannot guarantee a particular vampire. I would play Recruitment only if finding the right vampire is critical to the deck; most decks are better served by a more consistent crypt and stronger master cards.
