Rave

About Rave

Rave, Action, designed by William O'Connor first released in October 2000 in the set Sabbat War and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Rave is most useful in toolbox, swarm, or “disposable minion” decks that frequently put blood or equipment on temporary vampires and then want to consolidate those resources onto stronger ready vampires, especially decks using Villein-like blood management, equipment-heavy combat packages, or minions that can repeatedly act at +1 stealth; however, it is quite niche because spending a minion action to move resources is usually inefficient. `Minion Tap` is generally better for moving blood because it is a master card and does not consume an action, while `Vessel`/`Blood Doll` provide ongoing blood management and equipment can often be transferred or acquired more efficiently through dedicated equipment cards or retrieval effects. Rave’s free cost, stealth bonus, and ability to move equipment and life as well as blood give it unusual utility—particularly in decks exploiting allies or life-based minions—but outside those specific resource-consolidation strategies it should not see play.
