About Nails (G4)

Nails (G4), Vampire, designed by Lawrence Snelly first released in March 2007 in the set Sword of Caine.

Nails (G4) is best suited to a group 4–5 Nosferatu antitribu deck that wants an affordable Black Hand vampire for cards requiring that trait. Its printed text offers no ability beyond the Black Hand designation, though, so it is a supporting crypt choice rather than a reason to build the deck. There is no universally better replacement: another vampire is better only if it fits the deck’s crypt grouping and discipline needs while offering more useful abilities for its cost. I would play Nails when the deck specifically needs its combination of clan, disciplines, and Black Hand status; otherwise, I would leave it out.

Black Hand is not a title, it is a trait unrelated to any sect. The trait is not lost if the vampire changes sect. [LSJ 20070322] [ANK 20180807]
