About Murat (G2)

Murat (G2), Vampire, designed by Pete Venters first released in May 1996 in the set Ancient Hearts and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Murat fits a Group 2/3 Nosferatu Camarilla deck that wants a prince for political actions or prince-requiring cards and can use his disciplines in its combat plan. His Serpentis tax is too narrow to build around: it matters only when a Follower of Set plays a Serpentis-requiring combat card against him. Cock Robin (G3) is a stronger high-end choice for many such decks, offering a Justicar title and useful intercept, though he costs more pool, so he is not a direct replacement. Murat can see play if his 7-capacity price and discipline spread suit your crypt, but I would treat his special as an occasional bonus, not a reason to include him.
