About Leather Jacket
Leather Jacket, Equipment, designed by Tim Bradstreet, Grant Goleash first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.
Leather Jacket fits decks with a key vampire that needs to take actions but remain unlocked to defend during other players’ turns, especially decks without reliable combat defense. Its zero-pool cost is attractive, and burning it can save that vampire from a dangerous strike, but equipping still takes an action and the protection works only once. There is no universally better replacement: a deck with superior Presence may prefer **Majesty**, which can end combat and unlock the vampire, while a bleed-focused deck may get more value from **Camera Phone’s** lasting bleed bonus. Leather Jacket is worth considering as a one- or two-copy defensive option if keeping a particular vampire alive is crucial; it generally should not be an automatic inclusion.
