About Foresee
Foresee, Power, designed by Eric Lofgren first released in April 2006 in the set Nights of Reckoning.
Foresee fits an Imbued intercept deck that blocks often but cannot reliably survive combat: it lets your blocker inspect the opposing player’s hand, then avoid a dangerous fight if the threat looks worse than letting the action through. The trade-off is steep, though—if your Imbued was blocking, cancelling combat makes the action continue as if unblocked. For protecting a blocker, **Flash Grenade** is generally the stronger combat-escape option because its strike ends combat after a successful block, although it requires equipment and you must reach the strike step. Foresee is worth considering as a niche hand-information and emergency-exit card, but I would not make it a staple; play it only if those first-round, post-block decisions are especially valuable to your deck.
Rules
10/08/2026
For actions resulting from an action card, "continue as if unblocked" moves the action card from the ash heap (where it went when the action was blocked) to limbo (where it should be if the action is not blocked). If the action card is not in the ash heap, then the action cannot be continued. [LSJ 20070808-1]

If the action continues "as if unblocked", all action modifiers and reaction cards are still in effect, even those pertaining to a successful block. [RTR 19941109] [ANK 20190116]
10/08/2026
If the action continues "as if unblocked", any Methuselahs that have declined to block before do not get another opportunity to block. [ANK 20190116]
