About Etrius (G2)
Etrius (G2), Vampire, designed by Steve Casper first released in December 1995 in the set Dark Sovereigns and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Etrius (G2) fits a **high-capacity Tremere bleed-and-vote deck** that can use his Inner Circle votes, +2 bleed, and access to Tremere support cards. His blood-stealing action is a useful bonus against Tremere opponents, but it is too matchup-dependent to build around. If you want a Tremere-focused deck, **Carna, The Princess Witch** is often a better crypt investment for a defensive strategy: she costs less pool and brings reliable intercept. If you mainly want an 11-capacity Inner Circle vampire to pressure opponents, **Arika** is generally a stronger choice in a Ventrue deck. Etrius can see play if your deck specifically benefits from his combination of Tremere, votes, and bleed, but he is usually a niche choice rather than a card to build around.
