About Enticement
Enticement, Action, designed by Steve Ellis first released in June 2001 in the set Final Nights and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
Enticement mainly benefits a defensive or combat-oriented Serpentis deck that does not rely on bleeding—particularly a wall, intercept, or toolbox deck that can accumulate the Edge and wants reliable pool damage while its vampires are otherwise unable or unwilling to bleed; however, it is generally weaker than simply bleeding, since it consumes an action and the Edge, can be blocked, and prevents all your minions from bleeding for the turn. In dedicated Serpentis decks it can provide useful reach, but most stealth-bleed builds will prefer cards such as `Govern the Unaligned`, `Conditioning`, or `Eyes of Argus`-supported bleed actions, while general pool-damage strategies usually get more flexibility from `Kine Resources Contested` or `Legal Manipulations`; `Kine Resources Contested` is the closest broadly better alternative because it does not consume the Edge, cannot be stopped by blocking, and can damage multiple opponents. Enticement should see play only as a metagame or archetype c
