About Dead Pool
Dead Pool, Master, designed by Krasen Maximov first released in May 2025 in the set New Blood III.
Dead Pool fits a combat-heavy Lasombra bruise-bleed deck that regularly sends opposing vampires to torpor, then spends the counters to push through bleeds; a Lasombra vote deck could use the +2 votes, but it is less likely to generate counters consistently. For a deck primarily trying to win through combat, **Fame** or **Tension in the Ranks** generally offers a more direct payoff when vampires go to torpor. For bleed-focused decks, **Conditioning** is a more reliable way to increase a bleed, though it uses a different card slot and costs blood. Dead Pool is worth considering if your Lasombra already expect frequent combats and you want a free, flexible payoff, but I would not make it a default inclusion: without vampires leaving the ready region, it does nothing.
