About Dabbler

Dabbler, Master, designed by Matt Smith first released in July 2018 in the set Heirs to the Blood Reprint and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

Dabbler fits a multi-Discipline toolbox deck whose main vampire regularly plays cards using three different Disciplines in one action—for example, a stealth-and-bleed deck using Dominate, Obfuscate and Fortitude. It is much less useful in a focused deck that rarely reaches that threshold. For blood gain, Perfectionist is generally the better archetype because it is easier to trigger after a successful action; for unlocking, Freak Drive is more reliable if your vampire can use it. Dabbler’s appeal is that it offers either benefit even when the action fails, but I would play it only if your deck can trigger it consistently, not as a default inclusion.
