About Cry Wolf
Cry Wolf, Ally, designed by Andrew Bates first released in May 2003 in the set Anarchs.
Cry Wolf is most useful in a combat-focused Anarch deck that can reliably recruit it, protect its mandatory directed-bleed actions from being blocked, and exploit its forced combats and optional press; its biggest drawback is that it never unlocks normally, so it must act and become locked at the right time or be burned at your next unlock. For a repeatable, lower-risk combat ally, **Tupdog** is generally better where legal: it has stronger combat utility and does not risk torpor from a blocked recruitment action, though it is not a direct substitute for Cry Wolf’s persistent board presence. Cry Wolf can be a thematic or metagame choice when you can keep it acting and expect useful fights, but it is usually too fragile and demanding to justify a slot in a competitive deck.
Rules

Other effects and modifiers (eg. {Crypt's Sons}, {Change of Target}) can only be used after all triggered effects have been handled. [ANK 20220116] [ANK 20211207] [ANK 20210627]
