About Creation Rites

Creation Rites, Action, designed by Michael Astrachan first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

Creation Rites is best in a **Sabbat breed-and-boon or swarm deck** with reliable access to a ready archbishop, priscus, cardinal, or regent: it produces another same-clan vampire for future bleeds, blocks, and clan-based effects, while fetching a master Discipline card without spending a master phase action; a standard Discipline card also increases the recruit’s capacity, making it more useful than a basic 1-capacity vampire. A particularly strong home is **Toreador antitribu using Palla Grande**, where additional clan members become stronger bleeders, or a deck using **Consanguineous Boon** to turn a growing clan population into pool gain. **The Embrace** is the main alternative: its less restrictive requirement makes it better when your deck cannot consistently supply a qualifying Sabbat title, but Creation Rites generally offers better value when that requirement is already satisfied, especially because of the Discipline search. **Third Tradition: Progeny** is another strong breed
