Corpse Minion, Retainer, designed by Alan Rabinowitz first released in December 1995 in the set Dark Sovereigns and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Corpse Minion is most useful in a Tremere or Tremere antitribu intercept wall/toolbox deck that expects occasional large stealth actions, since it provides flexible, scalable intercept when the vampire has spare blood; however, it is generally inferior to Raven Spy for routine defense, because Raven Spy provides a permanent +1 intercept without requiring the vampire to spend blood during the action, while Corpse Minion only helps when activated and can become expensive at +2 or higher. It may also compete with cards such as Enhanced Senses, Auspex intercept, and wakes, which are usually more efficient or easier to incorporate into a complete defensive package. Corpse Minion should see play only as a small number of copies in a Tremere wall or toolbox deck that values burst intercept and has reliable blood management; it is not a staple retainer and is usually weaker than simply playing more permanent intercept or reaction cards.
