About Anwar (G2)

Anwar (G2), Vampire, designed by Christopher Shy first released in June 2001 in the set Final Nights and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

Anwar is mainly useful as a cheap crypt-filler in a low-capacity Banu Haqim stealth-bleed or toolbox deck, particularly if the deck has a specific interaction that rewards the **Blood Cursed** trait; by itself, however, that trait provides too little practical value to justify choosing Anwar over a vampire with stronger disciplines or a useful special ability. In most competitive Banu Haqim decks, **Hassan**, **Leandro**, or **Hagar** are generally better four-capacity alternatives because they contribute more directly to stealth, bleed, intercept, or combat plans, while larger vampires such as **Rakeem** offer a much stronger late-game presence. Anwar can see play as a budget or thematic inclusion, but unless your deck specifically exploits Blood Cursed interactions or needs additional inexpensive clan vampires, he is usually not worth a crypt slot.
