his built-in +1 intercept helps him block key actions without spending cards, and Tzimisce have tools to make those blocks painful. His drawback is his **8-capacity cost**—a lot of pool for a vampire whose special ability only helps with blocking. There is no strictly better replacement for every crypt, but a lower-capacity Tzimisce with the disciplines your deck needs may be a better investment if it can block reliably with reaction cards. **He should see play in a dedicated blocking deck**, especially one that values intercept available every turn; I would usually leave him out of a faster or more pool-efficient build.
