About Anson (G1)
Anson (G1), Vampire, designed by Mark Tedin first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Anson is best in master-heavy Toreador or broadly Camarilla decks that want to play multiple permanents each turn—especially vote-control decks using cards such as `Parity Shift`, `Villein`, `The Parthenon`, `Ashur Tablets`, `Dreams of the Sphinx`, or `Powerbase: Montreal`—because his extra master phase action compounds both card advantage and pool management; he is also a useful political vampire thanks to being a Prince with two votes and solid Toreador disciplines. There is no universally better replacement, but `Nana Buruku` is generally stronger in decks specifically built around repeated extra master actions because her ability is reusable and does not depend on being ready, while `Anson` is easier to include in Toreador/Camarilla vote shells and does not spend blood to use his ability. Anson should see play when your deck contains a high density of important master cards and can support an eight-capacity vampire; otherwise, his high cost and merely moderate combat impact make hi
