About Amria

Amria, Combat, designed by Michael Gaydos first released in June 2001 in the set Final Nights and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

Amria fits a defensive, ranged-combat deck using vampires with Chi, where the maneuver helps reach long range and the superior effect can dodge an opposing strike and end combat safely, but it is generally too narrow for competitive play: the inferior effect cannot help against close-range combat, while the superior effect avoids combat rather than generating advantage; Flash or Blur are usually better maneuver options, and Form of Mist is a stronger dedicated dodge-and-press card when available, so Amria should normally be omitted unless your deck specifically needs free Chi maneuvers, has limited access to better combat cards, or expects a metagame where ending combat defensively is especially valuable.
