About Static Virtue
Static Virtue, Master, designed by Ken Meyer, Jr. first released in November 2005 in the set Legacies of Blood.
Static Virtue belongs in a **Laibon deck built around Aye and Orun**, especially one that regularly influences out vampires of capacity 8 or more: played after one of them enters your ready region, it can fetch two or more of *each* card for no pool cost. It is much less attractive in a small-capacity Laibon deck or one that does not make good use of both cards. There is no strictly better substitute for that burst of Aye-and-Orun setup; playing Aye or Orun directly is more dependable when you need just one specific card and cannot meet Static Virtue’s timing condition. **It should see play in a dedicated Aye/Orun deck**, but its narrow payoff does not justify a slot in most Laibon decks.
