Shadow Sentinel, Reaction, designed by Anastasiia Horbunova first released in November 2020 in the set Fifth Edition and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Shadow Sentinel fits an **Oblivion deck built around wraith or zombie allies**, especially one that wants to block after its vampires and allies have locked for other actions: at [OBL], it lets a locked vampire wake a locked ally, while the [obl] option gives the vampire a wake instead. If you only need to wake vampires, a generic card such as **On the Qui Vive** is usually a better choice because it does not require Oblivion; **Eyes of Argus** is stronger in decks with Auspex that also want intercept. Shadow Sentinel should see play chiefly when the ally-wake option is valuable—otherwise, use the more flexible alternatives.
