About Ravager
Ravager, Master, designed by Brian LeBlanc first released in February 2010 in the set Heirs to the Blood.
Ravager is best in a Kiasyd toolbox or wall deck that regularly needs its vampires to hunt safely, especially one using high-capacity Kiasyds whose hunt actions would otherwise expose them to blocks, but it is a very narrow master card: it provides no stealth, blood, or other utility and does nothing against changeling minions. In most Kiasyd decks, `The Path of Paradox` is generally better because it supports hunting while offering broader utility, while blood-management cards such as `Vessel`, `Blood Doll`, or `Hunting Ground` are usually stronger overall because they make hunting less necessary or generate value beyond a single protected action. Ravager should therefore see play only as a metagame choice in a combat- or block-oriented Kiasyd deck that expects frequent hunting and has spare master slots; it is not recommended as a default inclusion in competitive Kiasyd builds.
