About Modius (G7)
Modius (G7), Vampire, designed by Carmen Cornet first released in July 2024 in the set Thirtieth Anniversary.
Modius is mainly useful in a Camarilla Toreador political deck—particularly a Group 7 Prince-based vote deck that runs many master cards and can afford to discard one for an important referendum—but an 8-cap vampire offering only a conditional +1 vote is generally underpowered, since discarding a master is real card disadvantage and the bonus does not help with bleed, defense, or stealth. In most competitive builds, a stronger titled vampire or a vote modifier such as **Bewitching Oration** is a better investment, as it can provide +2 votes without consuming a master card from hand; therefore, Modius is playable in thematic, budget, or limited-pool Toreador vote decks, but it usually should not see serious constructed play unless the deck specifically values his Group 7 crypt access, Prince title, and reliable supply of expendable master cards.
