About Machine Blitz
Machine Blitz, Combat, designed by Clint Langley first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat.
Machine Blitz is a very narrow **Thaumaturgy combat tech card** that would mainly benefit decks that expect to fight **weapon-heavy combat vampires** but do not want to invest heavily in their own weapons, especially **Tremere intercept/combat decks, anti-gun toolbox builds, and Thaumaturgy rush decks** that want a free way to punish opponents relying on .44 Magnums, Assault Rifles, Flamethrowers, or other high-damage weapons. Its biggest strength is that it costs **0 blood**, has no requirement beyond Thaumaturgy, and effectively turns the opponent’s investment into your own ranged strike, but its weakness is that it is completely reactive and dead against decks using prevention, maneuvers, presses, non-weapon combat, or low-damage weapons. In practice, it is usually worse than dedicated combat solutions: **Walk of Flame** is far stronger for Thaumaturgy combat because it provides reliable aggravated damage and works regardless of the opponent’s equipment, while **Torn Signpost**, **B
