About Kine Resources Contested
Kine Resources Contested, Political action, designed by Heather Hudson, Brian LeBlanc first released in August 1994 in the set Jyhad and was printed exactly in 15 different ways.
Kine Resources Contested is best in vote- or political-bleed decks that can reliably pass referendums, especially decks with many titled vampires, stealth, and ways to gain additional votes, such as Ventrue, Brujah, Lasombra, or generic political toolboxes; it pressures multiple Methuselahs while helping set up an oust or soften the table, though the requirement to split the four points among at least two players makes it weaker than focused damage. There is no universally better replacement: Parity Shift is usually stronger in Camarilla titled-vampire decks because it can create a major five-pool swing against one opponent, while Reckless Agitation can be preferable in anarch decks or when you want a cheaper, more flexible political damage package, but both serve somewhat different roles. Kine Resources Contested should definitely see play in a dedicated political deck, commonly as several copies, but it should not be included in non-vote decks or decks that cannot consistently win re

If multiple ousts happen, players whose prey gets ousted get a victory point, even if they are being ousted themselves. Only the surviving ones get 6 pool from the oust of their prey (not of their grand-prey). [LSJ 20000309]
