About Devil-Channel: Hands

Devil-Channel: Hands, Combat, designed by Abrar Ajmal first released in November 2005 in the set Legacies of Blood.

Hands best fits an Abombwe combat or rush deck built around strong vampires and reliable close-range hand strikes, especially one that wants aggravated damage to send opposing vampires to torpor and appreciates the superior version’s optional press; its inferior reflex ability also gives some protection against cards such as Rötschreck. It is not usually an automatic inclusion, however, because it requires a pre-range slot, does nothing by itself to secure range, and can be less efficient than simply using a strike-based aggravated-damage option. `Claws of the Dead` is generally the better choice in Potence combat decks when the only goal is aggravated hand damage, while `Feral Claws` is often better in Protean decks because it can provide first strike; Devil-Channel: Hands is preferable when you specifically want the frenzy-cancellation utility or the Abombwe-compatible press. It should see play as a focused one- or two-copy package in dedicated Abombwe combat, particularly in a meta
