About Deploy the Hand
Deploy the Hand, Political action, designed by Jeff Holt first released in November 2003 in the set Black Hand and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
**Deploy the Hand** is best in a Sabbat political deck built around a ready Archbishop, Cardinal, or Regent—especially a vote/bleed or attrition deck that can reliably pass referendums and wants to punish several opponents over time, or one that can leave opposing Methuselahs with only one vulnerable ready minion. However, it is generally weak: the damage is delayed, the opponent chooses which minion suffers it, the target counter can be removed with the Edge, and the political action does not immediately affect pool or remove a key minion. In most decks, **Kine Resources Contested** or **Reckless Agitation** is better for immediate political pressure, while **Banishment** is better if your goal is to neutralize a problematic vampire. Deploy the Hand can be a flavorful metagame choice in a dedicated Sabbat vote deck, but it should not see regular play unless your deck specifically exploits repeated target counters, Edge denial, or situations where opponents have few ready minions to ch
