About Circle
Circle, Combat, designed by Mike Danza first released in December 2001 in the set Bloodlines and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Circle is mainly useful in a combat deck whose minions already have flight and want to keep opponents from escaping or control range in a later round, but its press has little value unless combat is likely to continue and its maneuver arrives only in that next round. Cards such as **Sideslip** or **Pursuit** are generally better for maneuvering because they provide it when it matters without requiring a prior press and another round of combat; for a press, use a more broadly applicable press card if your deck needs to force additional rounds. Circle is free, so it can be a narrow option in a flight-heavy deck with spare card slots, but it is not a strong general combat inclusion and usually should not see play unless its flight requirement is reliably met and the delayed maneuver supports a specific combat plan.
