About Basil (G2)
Basil (G2), Vampire, designed by John Bolton first released in October 1996 in the set Sabbat and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Basil (G2) fits a **low-cost Pander swarm deck** that wants as many vampires in play as possible and plans to avoid combat. At 1 pool, Basil is cheap, but the drawback is significant: almost every opposing vampire is older and therefore gets +1 strength when fighting Basil. **Creation Rites** is a better way to add disposable Panders once your deck is running, though it requires an action rather than providing a starting crypt vampire. Basil is playable if you need another 1-capacity Pander for a dedicated swarm, but otherwise I would leave it out.
