Hidden Strength

Um Hidden Strength

Hidden Strength, Kampf, entworfen von Steve Casper Erstveröffentlichung in Mai 1996 bei der Bearbeitung Ancient Hearts und wurde genau in gedruckt 6 verschiedene Formen.

Hidden Strength shines in Brujah or Toreador decks that rely on high-programming (Celerity) swarms with little to no blood waste, acting as a cheap "double-dip" where the first press prevents up to 5 damage and the optional second press can absorb another 5 from a coordinated blocker; it's especially potent in low-mass, high-mobility decks that can push 5-damage attackers into a defender with 6+ strength and 4+ unmodified defense. It's generally outclassed by cards like Defend all the Weakness (which prevents all damage to a single pool from a single attack) and better multidual-casting targets like Seducer's Masquerade or The Gift's 2 VtSS bounce, but in a meta heavy on 5+ damage rush or when you need to save a key pawn for a later intercept chain, Hidden Strength can be a clutch surprise; it should see fringe play in combat-focused decks that struggle with consistent blockers and have mass bleed sources to justify the press.
