حول Venenation
Venenation, Action modifier, صمم بواسطة Brian LeBlanc صدر لأول مرة في يونيو 2001 في التحرير Final Nights وطبع بالضبط في 2 أشكال مختلفة.
Venenation fits a **Serpentis corruption deck** that expects its actions to be blocked, especially one already using **Temptation** to build corruption counters on opposing minions. It can punish a block—or discourage one—and superior Serpentis makes it free. **Temptation is generally the better card for stealing minions**, because you can choose your target rather than wait for that minion to block you; ordinary stealth is also more reliable if your main goal is simply to get an action through. Venenation is worth trying as a small supporting package in a dedicated corruption deck, but I would not make it a staple or include it in a generic Serpentis deck.

If the combat is canceled by Venenation, the action is still blocked, the blocking minion locks. {Mask of a Thousand Faces} cannot be used to continue it, but an effect can be used to continue the action as if unblocked (eg. {Crypt's Sons}, {Momentary Delay}). Modifiers that are played before block resolution like {Change of Target} can be played after Venenation. [ANK 20190524] [LSJ 20020126]
