Transfusion is primarily a niche support card for Samedi/Thanatosis decks: at basic Necromancy it can top up a key ready vampire after a successful action, while basic Thanatosis also lets it replenish a ghoul ally’s life, potentially keeping an important combat ally alive. Its superior effect fits a rush-combat deck that can reliably inflict damage and survive, but it is usually too slow to build around: stealing one minion requires three successful applications across at least three turns, and that target must remain available throughout the process. The once-per-turn restriction also prevents a multiacting combat deck from accelerating the theft. For vampire blood recovery, **Taste of Vitae** is generally better in combat decks that make opposing vampires burn substantial blood, while **Perfectionist** offers repeatable recovery for decks whose successful actions avoid combat; **Blood Doll** or **Vessel** provide more flexible ongoing blood management, although they occupy master sl
