Steadfastness is a defensive utility card that mainly benefits **Fortitude-based wall, intercept, and toolbox decks**, especially those that already want to play reactions for blocking and need extra bleed protection, such as Fortitude intercept decks, ANI/FOR or AUS/FOR defensive builds, and some Giovanni, Salubri, Gangrel, or Samedi variants that can afford flexible defensive slots. Its strength is that it is **free**, does not require a lock, and has two modes: +1 intercept when you need to catch an action or [FOR] reduce a bleed by 1 when blocking is not possible.
