Sargon is mainly useful in a Baali or infernal-themed deck that can make him perform several inexpensive successful actions, since repeatedly gaining the Edge can provide a modest pool-recovery engine, but his infernal drawback, lack of meaningful discipline support, and only 5-capacity body make that benefit too slow and fragile for most competitive decks; decks that specifically exploit Edge, such as niche toolbox or political strategies, may get some value from him, but he is generally inferior to versatile 5-capacity vampires with useful disciplines and stronger action or bleed abilities, such as **The unnamed**, **Lydia Van Cuelen**, or other crypt options selected for the deck’s discipline spread, so Sargon should usually not see play outside casual Baali flavor decks or a highly specialized Edge-focused build.
