Obtenebration

حول Obtenebration

Obtenebration, Master, صمم بواسطة Alan Rabinowitz, Melissa Uran صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 1996 في التحرير Sabbat وطبع بالضبط في 4 أشكال مختلفة.

Obtenebration is most useful in a Lasombra or Kiasyd deck built around vampires who have basic Obtenebration and gain a lot from reaching superior—for example, a stealth or combat deck whose key cards have stronger [OBT] effects. It can also give a vampire without the discipline basic [obt], but spending a master-phase action to do that is usually slow. There is no strictly better card for its specific combination of a permanent discipline increase and +1 capacity at zero pool cost; **Sanguine Instruction** is an alternative if you already have a vampire with superior Obtenebration, though it costs an action instead. In most decks, the better choice is to put vampires who already have [OBT] in the crypt and use the master slot for cards such as **Villein** or **Dreams of the Sphinx**. I’d play Obtenebration only when upgrading particular vampires is central to the deck’s plan, usually in a small number rather than a full set.
