Far Mastery is a **meta-dependent card for a Dominate deck**, especially one with several vampires at superior [DOM] and opponents who rely on valuable allies, such as War Ghouls or Nephandus. Its built-in stealth helps the action succeed, and stealing an ally can be a major swing; the inferior [dom] retainer-stealing option is much narrower. If your deck also has Presence, **Entrancement** is worth considering as an alternative for stealing allies or retainers, but it does not make Far Mastery obsolete in a Dominate-focused deck. I’d play one or two copies if ally decks are common in your group; otherwise, those slots will usually do more work as bleed or defense cards.
