Amaranth

حول Amaranth

Amaranth, Combat, صمم بواسطة Jeff Menges, Alejandro Colucci صدر لأول مرة في أغسطس 1994 في التحرير Jyhad وطبع بالضبط في 7 أشكال مختلفة.

Amaranth primarily benefits dedicated rush/combat and diablerie decks—especially Potence-based decks that can reliably send opposing vampires to torpor and want to remove them immediately before they can be rescued, while gaining the usual benefits of diablerie; however, the blood-hunt risk, requirement that your vampire be able to commit diablerie, and narrow timing make it a highly situational inclusion. In most combat decks, Disarm is usually the better card because it sends the opposing vampire to torpor without provoking a blood hunt, while ordinary diablerie actions are preferable when you can safely perform them; Amaranth is mainly worthwhile as a low-cost finisher in a deck specifically built around rushes, vampire removal, and accepting the political consequences of diablerie. It can see play in that niche, but it should not be included as a general-purpose combat card.
