Treachery

حول Treachery

Treachery, Reaction, صمم بواسطة Harold Arthur McNeill صدر لأول مرة في مايو 1996 في التحرير Ancient Hearts وطبع بالضبط في 3 أشكال مختلفة.

Treachery best fits a political-control or vote-denial deck with `pre`, especially one that can exploit table-wide pool pressure and does not mind allowing an opposing referendum to pass, but its impact is narrow: it does nothing unless the referendum succeeds, only burns 1 pool from the acting Methuselah at inferior, and at superior requires favorable voters to have actually voted or balloted for it. In most decks it should not see play because a passed referendum is usually already advantageous to its caller, making Treachery a weak deterrent rather than a reliable defensive tool; `Delaying Tactics` is generally better because it cancels the referendum and prevents its effects entirely, while `Telepathic Counter` or `Telepathic Vote Counting` are better in decks that want to contest votes directly. Treachery is mainly a meta call for a `pre` political deck facing heavy referendum strategies, not a generally efficient inclusion.
