The Sleeping Mind

حول The Sleeping Mind

The Sleeping Mind, Action modifier, صمم بواسطة Greg Simanson صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 1996 في التحرير Sabbat وطبع بالضبط في 4 أشكال مختلفة.

The Sleeping Mind is most useful in a Dominate stealth-bleed, Dominate vote, or toolbox deck that regularly makes important actions against wall decks, particularly those relying on Wake with locked vampires: its inferior effect can shut out a specific locked vampire, while the superior effect can prevent all minions from unlocking during the action. However, it is narrow and expensive at 1 blood; Seduction is generally better for simply denying one blocker because it can target an untapped vampire, while ordinary stealth such as Lost in Crowds or Conditioning is usually more valuable in a standard bleed deck, and Deflection remains a higher-priority Dominate card in defensive builds. The Sleeping Mind should see play mainly as a metagame choice in decks expecting many Wake cards or defensive intercept decks, perhaps as a one- or two-copy package, but it is not usually strong enough to justify inclusion as a staple in most Dominate decks.
